Logo and Branding Suite for the dynamic realtor duo, Melanie and Drew Kelly.

These two have a passion for both land and people, and for bringing the two together in a sustainable and vibrant way. They were looking for a brand that spoke to their passions, their warmth, and to the irreplaceable feeling of comfort and peace that comes from buying a home. The nod to kelly green and their Irish heritage was a fun bonus!

This project was super duper fun.

The Bush Foundation has been investing in communities and ideas in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and the 23 Native nations that share that geography since 1953. It was an honor to illustrate for their Ecosystem Grants program.

Full color poster and single-color T-shirt graphics for a wonderful cause.

All proceeds go to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation, providing support and funds for families affected by this type of inoperable cancer.

2022

The First Responder’s Children’s Foundation provides financial support to children and families who have suffered through traumatic events. I have had the pleasure of creating graphics for events, fundraising campaigns, and various other projects for the Foundation.

One highlight was the 20th Anniversary Thanksgiving Parade, a time for children and families to come together and celebrate in the heart of the city.

Promotional and program materials for MCAD's 2016 Pre-College Summer Session.

Original, award-winning art direction by Aaron DeYoe.

In 1963, my grandfather Earl F. "Budd" Cheit left his position at the University of California for a year-long sabbatical in Europe, bringing along his wife and their four children. His photographs from their time on the great continent are both haunting and beautiful.

This book combines text from Budd's oral history with my own digital remastering and curating of his photographs.

Hardcover book; personal project.

2020

Summer of 2017 I had the pleasure of designing a logo for The Center of Excellence. I worked within their branding guidelines and vision to create this welcoming, inclusive logomark, representing the nurturing ethos and strong, deep, community-based roots this incredible organization has built.

The Center of Excellence is an affiliate of People Serving People, a Nonprofit organization assisting with transitional housing and social services in Hennepin County.

Such a fun project for a wonderful org!

Volume 20, 2017

Water~Stone Review is is a literary annual published by The Creative Writing Programs at Hamline University. The review publishes work in all genres as well as essay/reviews and writers’ interviews, from contributors around the world. 

This project was fabulous, as I had the honor of working with fourteen incredible photographers whose work I have admired from afar.
